Emmy Award's Red Carpet Predictions

Award's season is here again! This Sunday, the VMAs will takeover our television screens, but Monday's slot is reserved for the 66th annual Emmy Awards.

Earlier this week, we took a walk down memory lane -- reminiscing on the 2013 VMA award's red carpet. Fashion at the Emmys is just as spectacular, so we'll do the same here.

Last year's red carpet style was full of glamour, figure hugging silhouettes, and daring designs. A few of these ladies took some heat for their choices, but luckily they have a new year to make an impression.

Now that we are about 2 days away, let's take a look at some of the styles that I'm crossing my finger we'll get see this year.

Armani Privé Fall 2014 Couture

You can never go wrong with black or red, so what do you get when they're paired together--perfection!

Chanel Fall 2014 Couture

Who wouldn't want to wear a Chanel gown, especially when it's as exquisite as this.

Versace Fall 2014 Couture

The fashion at the Emmys may not be as sexy and daring as the VMAs, but that doesn't mean you won't see any slits, plunging necklines, or strategic silhouettes. This Versace gown adds a bit of structural design with a hint of sophistication.

Valentino Fall 2014 Couture

Asymmetrical organza and tiered embroidery -- we're sure to see these styles on Monday night. Not only do these gowns have a soft and opulent look, there's a bit of romance too! Wearing one of these Valentino gowns will make any red carpet lady look like a goddess!

Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture

Who can look through an Elie Saab runway show and just choose two looks? I can, but trust me it was not easy. If any Emmy attending actress wants to have the shimmer, the shine, the ombré, and the glamour, Elie Saab designs are always perfect! Plus, there's a generous amount of hues to choose from.

Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture (above & below)

Sexy, sophistication, and mesmerizing! These designs are definitely for the stylish and confident lady. We've seen several red carpets with capes, but never like this! (above/right)
The questions is --are we over it yet? I say, "No".

Most will reach for a fancy gown, but why not opt for a chic, shimmery blazer and graphic patterned pant to separate yourself from the pack? Make a statement that says--elegance!

Emilio Pucci Resort 2015

Gowns with the cut-out trend are still riding high. The high neckline on these two gowns add sophistication, while the ombré dyed colors and the silhouette enhancing cutouts make it interesting and sexy.

Monique Lhuillier Resort 2015

We've seen plenty of full skirts--but not like this. The gorgeous "pool blue" with pleats make this evening wear look soft and sophisticated. This design would give any lucky actress the chance to show off her shoes with the short hemline.

The gown on the right is for someone who is confident and daring. The intricate details will certainly land anyone on either the "best dressed" list or "worst dressed" list, depending on how the rest of the look (hair, makeup, accessories) are pulled off.

What were your favorite looks from the 2013 Emmy Awards and what styles are you looking forward to seeing this year?
