Beyonce you sneaky little devil you!! Once again she reminds us why she's the Queen of dropping music while you're sound asleep. She teamed up with Nicki Minaj to remix Flawless, a very popular song from her self titled Beyonce album. Take a listen inside...
Nicki Minaj spoke a while ago about dropping everything to work with Beyonce. It looks as though her album was pushed back and this might be part of the reason.
Here are the highlights from the song and a few things I've learned:
1. Beyonce will continue to rep Texas forever. She continues to show love for her home state and also gives a shout out to rapper Bun B, another Texas native.
2. She addresses the infamous elevator gate: "We escalating, up in this bi*** like elevators. Of course sometimes shit go down when it's a billion dollars on an elevator." (She repeats just in case you didn't hear her.) Not a thorough explanation, but at least she can admit something indeed went down.
3. She's with Nicki on a first name basis, referring to her as Onika, Nicki's real name.
4. Even when on a sold out tour with her hubby she still finds time to put together a remix.
5. On the Beyonce album, Bey reminded us that she is "Third ward trill". The lyrics from this remix, with Nicki's tongue thrashing collabo will explain just how...
